I want to live in a world with emergency room faith healers. I want to live in a world where pornography is used in advertising, on stadium sized digital billboards. I want to live in a world where laptops are replaced with computers you can wear on your hip, and a visor shines a little lazer in your eye to make it look like the image is being displayed on whatever flat surface is in your field of vision.
In my world, everyone stops what they're doing at 3pm to shake hands with whoever's closest to them. In my world, barter is a highly regarded artform that is practiced by all. In my world, if a lot remains vacant for too long, anyone who comes and builds on it and personally uses that building can claim the land. In my world, bars never close. In my world, clothing is optional. In my world, profanity is taught in school.
Give me a rock big enough, and the power of a god. Zoo animals will be taken on regular walks through the city. Criminals will be made to call their mothers and tell them whatever nasty thing they did. No media will be censored. Artists will have unlimited resources for their work. People will live young forever.
I want to live in a world where I have no regrets.
